Waste Management Centre -
Our purpose built waste recycling centre is situated on the Lillyhall Industrial Estate in Workington, West Cumbria and was opened on 5 December 1997. Most of the waste from our skip hire division is tipped at this site – so we can recycle as much waste as possible.
We also accept waste from other suppliers on a contract basis.
Most weeks we have an Environment Agency visit to ensure we are complying with the latest regulations.
All accepted waste is inspected, weighed then tipped into our reception area. All
tipping is done under cover on concrete hard standing -
Waste Segregation Any bulky waste items are then segregated leaving the remainder of the waste to be put through a combination of trommel screens, picking belt and air classifier system. These segregate the recyclable products from the waste that we can not recycle, all recyclable material is picked off on the picking belt and stockpiled for recycling.

4.30pm Friday - Sat am – but please phone before setting off Last tipping time is 15 mins before closing.
